Bordering the property the Mangawhero River (left) flows from the base of the Turoa ski field, beside the Ohakune Mountain Road, and along the border of Ohakune.  The Mangateitei (right) drains the eastern part of Turoa ski field before flowing to Rangataua, before turning and flowing through the famous Carrot Park and then Ohakune township.

Two Rivers - a real gem in Ohakune
"Ula and Scott are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to communicate and answer our questions promptly. Their genuine interest in the care of their guests is really evident. Two Rivers is a really special place to stay at and being just a little distance outside the main part of Ohakune, it's really private and quiet. The post-drive spa was fantastic and the twilight view of Ruapehu, just magical."

A must stay place in Ohakune

"Great host.they were very welcoming to the guests. The welcome kit was the added bonus. The room is exactly as what is in the pics and is maintained very clean . The outside Jacuzzi and the location near the two rivers were the highlights of this place. A must stay place and we will definitely be staying here again when we visit Ohakune."

The best experience and golden service ever. Super lovely owner and warmly welcome.

“Thanks for having us, it was a pleasure meeting the super lovely owner Scott and his wife. The room was perfect and warm! They also brought us nice breakfast and fresh fruits with some local drinks. The spa pool was so good to relax after a ski day. Water of the two river next to the building were from the snow mountains, the sound of the river and birds from the forest made me feel great to connect to the natural environment.”
